Meet Dr Chang:
Joe has extensive experience providing high-quality healthcare services as a Physician Assistant and practitioner of Eastern Medicine.
His journey to bring together two distinct approaches to healthcare began while providing acupuncture services within the Department of Defense, where he assisted hundreds of active duty service members recovering from various medical conditions. Most notably, Joe’s work with active duty service members with PTSD led him to be a much sought-after subject matter expert and consultant for various government research studies involving the benefits of acupuncture and acupressure.
He was awarded a VA Health Professional Scholarship to attend Duke University. He subsequently served at the VA Puget Sound- American Lake VA Medical Center where he continued to hone his skills, applying his knowledge to assist Veterans in pain management and primary care conditions.
Through integrating Western and Eastern philosophies of health and healing, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge, and traditional wisdom to Inspire Santa Fe.
